The system mainly consists of: air compressor, air handling components (regulator or air dryer, protection valve, air handling unit, etc.), storage cylinder.
Air compressor
Air compressor is installed on the engine, driven by the engine and produces compressed air.

The exhaust port of the regulator (or air dryer) connected to its exterior is discharged into the atmosphere.
